????Both husband & I are registered Idine members. The last 4 digiits of our Amex cards are different, no problem. But...our Visa cards have the same account number. Can I register the VISA under both our idine accounts or must I choose mine or his?

Your CC can only be link to one FF # dining account.
For your Visa you will have to choose which FF # dining account you want to link the card to.
Amex sends out different cards for each member so that is why you can be on different FF # accounts since the cards end in different numbers (even though you get one Amex statement.

Well, the August dining miles posted last night, so if they want to post the bonuses as a single batch run, and since the end date is tomorrow, 9/04, the bonuses might not post until after the Sept dining miles post (early Oct.) AA eliminates 500-miles min for non-elites - Page 4 - Traveling ::

Our dinning in early and mid July posted to our AA accounts in early August with the July date. Hope that the rest will post soon as our kids need the partner, the 500 bonus is nice but I don't care for it at this point (eventhough we ate out far too much to get four(4) 500 bonus points!). Plus we had to do two other dinning program bonus program along with the hotel stays programs, I think I will be miles and points @@ here soon!

Regardless of when they post, the date for this on your AA account would be August so you are fine for the 20/20 promotion.
Some time ago I spoke to Dining for miles/I-dine and was told the miles would post in 2 TO 3 MONTHS. The miles for a similar promo with NWA which ended June 30 has not posted
as far as I can tell ( I was told that I did get the required number of visits)

They eventually post, but they are very slow. I would call iDine and ask about it. Sometimes they can expedite it. It IS annoying to have to go to all that trouble for 500 miles. I find some restaurants are real good about posting and some are slow. If the restaurant is slow, then the total might not add up and that slows the whole thing up. This 500 is easy - only 3 times gets you 500.

Just got off the phone with them - you only need to call and sign up for this if you are not already an AAdvantage Dining member and want to sign up. Existing members get the promotion automatically.

You know, I'm growing tired of these bonuses; they never post! I didn't get the earlier, spring, one, even though I ate my way thru far more than $250. I didn't get the comparable UA one, which required 7 dining occasions over roughly the same period. And I have no faith I'll get this one, either.

Well I called the 1-800 for the dinning program and got "Alfredo" and asked about the 500 miles promotion. According to him, its for all registered AAdvantage dining members. You have to have 3 transactions before end of the September date. He told me to remember that you get only one credit transaction per month per restaurant. He knew nothing about the December promotion and it wasn't in his system. MMMM.... sound like a bit of confusion at... well just have to play it safe, eat at three different restaurants... lunch at one and snack at another and dinner at the third...all in one day.... love eating miles!!! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
