I tried to do a search but couldn't come up with exactly what I'm looking for....
I was booked CVG-ORD-YUL-YYZ, connecting in YUL for the extra mileage. And I think I will need the extra 700 miles to qualify for E again. Been a slow year..... Anyhow, the CVG-ORD flight was delayed by an hour or so, and thus AC rebooked me automatically on a CVG-ORD-YYZ route taking away my YUL connection.
Is there a way to get the miles of the flights that I originally booked? Or am I now stuck with the miles from the new itinerary?

There's also another thread somewhere if you do a search PerkChoice- fly with Cash and Miles:: For itineraries within North America or within Asia, change fee is US$100; for all other international itineraries the change fee is US$200. A US$50 mileage http://www.nwa.com/asia/en/features/perkchoice/HOME |

On United Airlines, this happens to me quite often. I write to the MileagePlus desk and include my origional itinerary information, and they ALWAYS give me credit for the booked mileage.
Good luck.
