Do you mean the diagnosis is suspect or that the opinion that it is
"untreatable" is suspect?
Perhaps you mean "inoperable". There are treatments both conventional
and alternative for inoperable liver cancers. See

Consultants can be tricky people to get hold of, and will often
initially turn away calls from patients to avoid conflict with your
own doctor. Another way "in" is to go through a Cancer Support Group.
Tak Tent is a large support group for Scottish-based cancer sufferers,
and provide information, support, education and care for cancer
patients, families, friends and professionals. They have a network of
support groups throughout Scotland. They run a Drop-in Resource and
Information Centre at the following address, and you can email or ring
with your problem, and they'll try to find the right people for you to
talk to.

One of the major hospitals for liver disease in the US is the Harvard
Medical School-affliated Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Ma. They have a
world class liver transplant team.
If you are asking abou liver transplants in Scotland, you might seek a
referral from the Lahey clinic, because they're in an excellent
position to make such a referral. Their website is:

If the central issue of your inquiry is liver cancer and it's
treatment by an oncologist, that is an issue which is distinct from a
liver tranplant, since liver cancer treatment may involve therapies
distinct from transplantation.
I am in the Boston area and I am very knowledgable about cancer
therapeutics from a research perspective. May I suggest that you
