** Step 9 Powerful, Attention Grabbing Headlines **

Poor headline writing skills is the single biggest reason that some article writers fail to get traffic and potential new subscribers to their website.

A great headline will stand up and scream Look at Me.

There are a number of things that you can do to improve your headline writing skills

1.) Visit Google or one of your favorite search engines and conduct a search for Power words and Phrases. Once the search is complete visit the top 10 results. Use the lists of power words and phrases that are displayed to create text file that you can use when you are brainstorming for a headline.

2.) Use keywords in your headline that are appropriate to the content of your article. The keywords should be used in the first 4 to 6 words of the headline.
