I need to know whether a property located in Orlando, Florida that is
zoned "C-2" ("commercial-2") will allow for a themed entertainment
attraction to be constructed there. I understand that there are some
restrictions placed on "C-2" properties as to the type of business
that can be operated there, but have not been able to find any
specifics.
C-2 Zone Instructions:
A use (building) shall be permitted in the C-2 district if the use is
identified by the letter "P" in the use table set forth in section
38-77.
A use (building) shall be prohibited in the C-2 general commercial
district if the space for that use is blank in the use table set forth
in section 38-77.

At the top there is a column designated "c-2". Look for your business
type to have a "P" in the column. You know more about your business
than I do, so I'm providing you with the whole table.
I found the zone rules and the use table at the Orange County Code
website ( http://livepublish.municode.com/7/lpext.dll?f=templates&fn=main-j.htm&vid=10182
). It's a pain to find, but look under "Chapter 38 ZONING" and then
go to "Article VII Commericial Districts". The "use table" is under
"Article IV" in the "Chapter 38 ZONING" list.
My search strategy goes as follows:
1. Searched Google for "'c-2' orlando florida zoning".
2. Saw the Orlando city website (

there.
3. Went to the county website ( http://www.orangecountyfl.net/search )
and searched for "zoning".
4. Which took me to the zoning website (
http://www.orangecountyfl.net/dept/growth/zoning/default.htm ).
5. Where I found the Zoning Code (
